Recipe of the week 23-08-2000
1 Block of Tofu (+- 400 gr), cubed
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp cayenne pepper/curry powder
4 tsp crushed garlic
4 tsp salt
2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp coriander
2 tsp cumin powder
- Marinate all the above ingredients for at least 1 hour.
- Bake at 180 degrees C untill tofu blocks become crispy.
- Serve on toothpicks with grilled vegetables of your choice, or enjoy with fresh chopped salad ingredients & natural yoghurt as a filling in pita bread.
