2 liters of skim milk or rice milk. ½ cup rice, soaked in water for 1 hour. Fructose to taste. ½ cup chopped almonds or pistachio or ¼ cup each. ¼ cup raisins. ½ teaspoon or more ground cardamom or seeds from the green cardamom. Bring milk to the boil. Add rice, lower the heat and cook until the rice is tender and the milk is creamy ( about 1 hour ) check often to ensure it is not burning. Add the fructose, nuts, raisins and cardamom. Cook another 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
