Broad Bean Tofu Dip


500 gr broad beans. 250 gr chopped tofu. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 tablespoon fresh Basil or 1 teaspoon dry Basil leaves. 1 small onion, salt, pepper,paprika to taste, 1 clove fresh garlic (optional ) Soak broad beans overnight then boil till soft ( 1.30 - 2.00 hours) Blend or process all the ingredients till smooth. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with fresh vegetable sticks such as carrots, celery, cucumbers, green peppers, baby corn etc… PS. Is also a perfect spread for children's ( and husbands ) sandwiches.
